Get started

14 April 2007,

Taday, we (Eric, Wei, Han and Jack) arrived to Dakeng around 9:00 am. The first thing we achieved was a roof over wellhead A. A small blue truck, full of tools and materials with some workers did this combat mission without any problems.(pic.below)

Next we had to set up all system, check it (leakage etc.), run softwares and pressure gauges. There was some leakage here and there, but all problems were fixed.(pic.below)

According to the last idea about our injection system, we installed a new valve to second buffer (pic.below). It is an important thing for relaxation part ot the test, when whole system must be closed and we draw an decreasing pressure graph for the borehole B.

After setting up and checking injection system, we had a little accident. A water pump broke down. One of its screw popped out quite surprisingly and stressfuly. We had to go back to the previous pump (pic.below).

So whole the story began at 17:04 pm (pic.below). Now, we are pumping 5 MPa. However there is worry that we have not enough gas for controlling the pressure. Tomorrow is Sunday, shops are closed, and we have little Nitrogen in a gas tank. In this case we will have to run a water pump until we get a new delivery. Moreover, we have much higher pressure than before, so water as gas, goes out much faster.
